DVNNI
Chelsey Danielle Pauls (born May 24, 1987), known as DVNNI, is an American singer, songwriter, producer and visual artist from southern California.
Drawing inspiration from legends in songwriting and artistry, from books, films, politics, and the life experience of herself and those around her, DVNNI’s eclectic taste and deep understanding of personal expression has led her to opportunities like writing music for many major Television Networks, writing for the R&B singer Jon B and even opening up for Lauryn Hill with Bambaata Marley. Though working with the who’s who of the music industry is great padding for the resumé, DVNNI cites colleagues and music professionals closest to her as the inspiration for her musical pursuits. “Being able to create something from nothing that can change someone’s mood or life is such a beautiful and powerful thing and I am honored to have been gifted with such responsibility.”
She has written for TV networks such as Fox, Bravo, VH1, Lifetime & STYLE Network. She has also written and collaborated with some of the biggest House/EDM DJs such as Rusko ("Dirty Sexy Money"), Manufactured Superstars ("Like Satellites" & "Great Escape"), Boehm ("Summer Sippin"), Karim Mika ("To the Stars") & many more. She is currently based in Los Angeles working on her solo album, writing for independent and major label artists, curating visual art and working on various other projects.
